Meet Your Therapist

Welcome! I am Hailey Moore, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, Virginia, the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Delaware. I began working in mental health services in 2015, and since then, I have had the opportunity to work in emergency and crisis services, correctional mental health settings, veteran services, nursing homes, disaster response, mental health group homes, outpatient substance abuse treatment programs, hospitals, and private practice. This wide variety of experience has allowed me to develop a strong set of therapeutic skills. I am a graduate of the University of West Florida Master’s of Social Work program. I started Human Connections Counseling & Consulting, LLC in 2021 with the goal of providing quality and compassionate mental health therapy nationwide. I get so much joy from helping others reach their personal goals.

My approach to therapy is holistic, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every individual. I am an inclusive therapist who values diversity and understands that our lived experiences shape who we are and how we interact with the world. All experiences are welcome here; all feelings are valid. Therapy is a space to be yourself! My role is to be your sounding board, your coach, and provide a looking glass for you to reflect inward and determine your best path forward. You are the expert of your own experience, and I am here to partner with you to develop the skills to reach your vision.

I am trained in several treatment modalities, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am a trauma therapist by nature and work with individuals experiencing symptoms of post-traumatic stress, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, and ADHD. I also have an interest in helping with professional development, anger management, stress management, living with chronic illness, burnout prevention, and improving self-esteem. I am an LGBTQ+ friendly and neurodivergent-affirming provider.

Here at Human Connections Counseling, we believe that life is about building connection. Let’s connect!
